22 Beautiful Burgundy Christmas Tree Ideas

Burgundy is one of my favorite Christmas colors when I want a tree to feel warm and elegant without relying on traditional bright red.
Its deep wine tone instantly adds richness, and it works beautifully with everything from antique gold and champagne to forest green, navy, blush, and winter white.
The easiest way to make a burgundy tree feel layered is to vary the texture rather than adding too many colors.
Try combining velvet ribbon, glossy glass baubles, matte ornaments, berries, and a little glitter, then repeat the burgundy near the top, through the center, and around the base so your eye travels across the entire tree.
For a full designer look, begin with warm white lights, add ribbon or floral stems, place your largest ornaments first, and use smaller pieces to fill the gaps.
Choose one or two supporting shades and keep them consistent; this lets burgundy remain the star while giving the finished tree depth and balance.

Bringing Your Burgundy Christmas Tree Together
These ideas show just how versatile burgundy can be, whether your style leans classic, botanical, handmade, or completely glamorous.
The common thread is thoughtful repetition: a few well-placed bows, flowers, berries, or oversized ornaments can carry the color through the whole tree without making it feel heavy.
Start with the version that feels most like your home, then borrow one or two details from the others to make it your own. Burgundy already brings plenty of warmth and drama, so trust the color, build your layers gradually, and enjoy creating a tree that feels beautifully personal.
